The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really happening.
